829 Carling Public Meeting

This event has already taken place.

A 60-storey mixed-use building has been proposed at the northwest corner of Carling and Preston with 459 residential units, 385 vehicular parking spaces over 13 levels of below and above ground parking, and 230 bicycle parking spaces. Retail units and amenity spaces will occupy the ground floor and above ground parking is proposed on levels 2-7.

Zoning By-law Amendment and Official Plan Amendment applications were submitted to the City to permit an increased height of 60 storeys. This site is designated Arterial Mainstreet through the Zoning By-law which permits a maximum height of 9 storeys and a 55-storey building is permitted through the Preston Carling District Secondary Plan, due to the site's proximity to the Dow's Lake LRT station.
