Downtown Transect consultation

Through the development of the New Official Plan, 6 Transect areas have been proposed to recognize and plan for the varied contexts across the city. Somerset Ward is located within the Downtown Transect.

Following the release of the City-wide As We Heard It report, City staff are holding a series of Transect-specific engagement sessions to discuss feedback received to date and any changes made based on resident concerns and comments. The Downtown Transect session is scheduled for Thursday, June 24 at 6:30 PM and will help residents learn what changes are being proposed and how this planning approach will apply to their neighbourhood.
