Energy Evolution: Ottawa's Community Energy Transition Strategy

The Climate Change Master Plan (CCMP) is the City’s overarching framework to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and respond to the current and future events of climate change. Energy Evolution is one aspect of the CCMP and focuses on the goal to reduce Ottawa’s target to reduce community greenhouse gas emissions by 100% by 2050. Energy Evolution presents the strategy to achieve this target and transform Ottawa into a sustainable city powered by renewable energy.

The City is seeking feedback on the challenges residents face when taking daily action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. A survey on this topic is available on the Energy Evolution page on Engage Ottawa.

Two public information sessions will take place over Zoom. Visit the Energy Evolution page for details on how to sign up. The sessions will be held:
